Located between Yonge and Jarvis, just south of Wellesley, these two bars under one Victorian roof offer a one-two downstairs-upstairs punch. Crews, with rowing club-frat house decor, is a predominantly male gay bar complete with drag shows Wednesday-Sunday. Saturday night is live music with the Elaine Dark Band and every weekend is disco, retro, house and R&B tunes. Tango is an upbeat lesbian bar with a different interactive theme every night—from in-house movie Tuesdays to Prima Donna karaoke Wednesdays, and Tango Thursdays for jazz and martinis.
